Haruka Misawa

Haruka Misawa was born in Gunma Prefecture in 1982. She is Director of Misawa Design Institute and Associate Professor at Musashino Art University. After graduating from the Interior Design Course at Musashino Art University, she worked at design office nendo before joining Hara Design Institute at Nippon Design Center in 2009. In 2014, she established Misawa Design Institute. Misawa Design Institute employs an experimental approach, aiming to observe the underlying principles of objects and visualize the unknown possibilities inherent in them.
