Liu Zhao

Liu Zhao is the founder and Creative Director of another design, an AGI member, and President of the Shenzhen Graphic Design Association. His practice spans visual design, cross-media experimentation and curatorial research, connecting contemporary visual language, technology and local culture. He co-curated Prompt: Design AI, chaired the GDC Award 2025 Organizing Committee, and was invited as a curator for the 2026 China Design Exhibition.

His work has received more than 200 international awards, including the Tokyo TDC Prize, D&AD Graphite and Wood Pencils, ADC New York Silver and Bronze Awards, The One Show Design Bronze Pencil, and New York TDC Ascenders.

In 2026, he served as Jury President for Typography at D&AD. His jury appointments worldwide also include D&AD 2024, The One Show, New York TDC, Topawards Asia, Macau Design Award and the China International Poster Biennale. He also lectures, exhibits and publishes internationally.
