Martyna Wędzicka-Obuchowicz

Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (Poland). AGI member from 2023. Self-employed graphic designer, lecturer, and speaker. She designs visual identity systems, covers, books, catalogs, and posters. Nominated and awarded in the "Fresh Blood" category in the Project of the Year 2018/2019 competition, and winner of the Polish Graphic Design Awards 2019 and 2021.
In addition to "hard" and analytical design, she explores the phenomenon of chance and human error, creating works based on the deconstruction of graphic elements, photos, and typography. She constantly experiments with poster form and expressive tools, which is why strong contrasts and geometric shapes dominate her recent works.

In a rapidly changing world, she sees growing value in socially engaged design—work that carries meaning and impact, shaping how women are perceived in the creative industry, addressing political contexts, and highlighting the role of design in communicating gender equality.
