Irene Pereyra

21st Europe / Anton & Irene

Irene Pereyra is the co-founder of independent design studio Anton & Irene, specializing in interaction design. The studio has created digital experiences for clients including the Met Museum, M+ Museum, USA Today, Shantell Martin, Zumtobel, and SPACE10/IKEA, while dedicating three months each year to self-initiated projects.

Irene is also part of the think tank 21st Europe, where she works at the intersection of design and policy, developing ideas for how Europe’s public systems, institutions, and infrastructure could work better for people. She is the author of Universal Principles of UX (Quarto, 2023) and The Accessible Design Reference & Specification Book (Quarto, 2026). She teaches Digital Ethics at ECAL in Switzerland and co-chairs the Interaction Design program at Harbour.Space in Barcelona and Bangkok.
